Why...

Managing users - minimal admin required

  • At sign up, all email addresses under a domain are protected by default values. You do not have to provide a user list nor do you have to waste time maintaining one, as people are appointed or leave.

  • Spam blocking and learning is fully automatic - white and black lists (domain and user level) are rarely used.

  • You do not have to give all users control panel access - most users will not need them, only those people who need custom settings. Quarantine stores and white & black lists are automatically created and can be managed by email.

User control panels

  • Control panel users can have multiple email addresses each with their own spam settings.

  • Real time statistics are available for each control panel user and domain. More detailed statistical reports are available monthly.

Easy management of quarantined spam

  • Only emails which are most likely to contain mis-classified messages are quarantined - real spam which fail lots of tests is discarded.

  • This massively reduces the number of quarantined notifications a user has to deal with. Most users get about four quarantine notifications per day and has to retrieve one of these (false positive) about one per fortnight. Reduces wasted time dealing with spam.

  • The spam notifications contain the original subject line, prefixed with "SPAM:" and sender information, making it easy for the user to identify mis-classified spam. A users simply replies to the notification to retrieve the message from quarantine or deletes it.

  • Spam and Virus notifications can be automatically sorted into users' junk mail and deleted items folders using the supplied message rules for Outlook and Outlook Express.
